Another Project Complete!

I've never painted anything using "Crackle". I've always wanted to but just never did it...until now!

These candle holders are in serious need of a face lift...hearts are out, even in country decorating!  

I decided to cover up the hearts with these wood appliques...

I used a taupe/tan paint for my base color...

After the base coat dries you apply the crackle and let that dry...

Then you paint your main color...in this case, gray...and it magically starts to crack!

It was pretty simple so I think I'll do this again sometime.
