John asked me if I wanted to go to a movie last night. He doesn't really like going to the movies, so I knew in order for him to want to go, it had to be a comedy....oh, and R rated.
The movie:
I agreed for 2 very good reasons: Popcorn and Mark Wahlberg.
John was also happy because Mila somebody was also in this movie.
We get seated and next to me was a mother and her maybe 10 year old son...for which she tells me that he has to go to the bathroom a lot so he will be getting up a lot during the movie (TMI) and to which I was thinking...maybe he's too young for an R rated movie??
Anyway, the movie was disgustingly funny, but made me uncomfortable when the teddy bear was drawing faces on a womans naked boobs while the 10 year old boy was sitting next to me (with is mom). And Mark Wahlbergs image is ruined for me (at least for awhile). Oh...and I'm sure John was disappointed that the naked boobs being drawn on didn't belong to Mila somebody. Otherwise a good movie and the popcorn was deeelish!
As I get older I find that there are a lot of things that just bother me. I start thinking about one of these things before I even get out of bed in the morning. It's the "Morning Routine". You know...all the things you have to do before you can even get your day started. I'm tired of taking a shower every morning. Tired of washing my hair and shaving my legs! I'm even tired of drying off with a towel. Tired of combing my hair, brushing my teeth, moisturizing, Q-tipping, deoderizing, plucking, drying my hair, styling my hair, putting on make-up and finding something to wear. Not done yet... making the bed, opening the blinds and something newer that also came with age...taking various pills for various ailments.
In a perfect world we could jump out of bed every morning clean and smelling good with perfect hair and fresh breath. Every outfit would look good on us so picking out something to wear would be effortless. And here's the biggy...someone else would beat us to making the bed! Yes! Out the door in 5 minutes flat!
I'm one of those people who have lots of ideas, but hardly ever follows through with any of them. Maybe because I do most of my thinking while driving in my car, so by the time I get home I have forgotten about most of them.
I also have thoughts that can be considered silly or off the wall and opinions, that of course, are always right!
I'm an "occasional" crafter, a "sometimes" scrapbooker, and lately I'll paint just about anything I can get my hands on!
