Who Said Cats Aren't Smart?

 

Guess who showed up today....WEARING A COLLAR ! ? !

Yep. I think this guy has been playing us for fools! (free meals, treats and a cozy house filled with blankets) 

I told John that I think the collar was a message from it's owners to stop feeding their cat because he is getting fat! 

This cat may be smart, but he didn't count on his owners ratting him out by putting the collar on! 

  

Post Christmas Blues

The time between Thanksgiving and Christmas is so busy and hectic that you just go go go, shop shop shop, bake bake bake, wrap wrap wrap, until the next thing you know you are celebrating the day and then....Christmas 2012 is over and even though I haven't taken down my decorations just yet, I'm starting to have those after Christmas blues. 

So I decided to go through all the pictures I took this year and share a few of my favorites with you....I promise this will be the last Christmas pictures I'll post....until next year!

Christmas Card Out Takes

This year we decided to take a photo for our Christmas cards (John's idea), and I came up with the big vs small stocking idea. This must be something that "Empty Nester's" do to entertain themselves!

We took these pictures before Thanksgiving, so we had to pull some decorations out and then put them all away again.  It was fun and I think I'd like to do this from now on. Happy Holidays!!

 

Like Mother, Like Daughter

I had a great time last night with Lisa at "U can PAINT 2" in South Bend.  It was so much fun watching her go from being intimidated to... I think I can do this! 

I think her picture turn out really good. And now she is talking about going back with Ty or some girlfriends.  It is a fun evening out.

Like mother, like daughter...you can't tell who's is who's.

Essenhaus Goodies

John asked me to take a drive over to Essenhaus Bakery in Middlebury today to pick up some goodies for the girls in his office.  He also requested some of their cinnamon rolls to treat them to breakfast in the morning.  This is only part of what I came home with...

There is also a pie in the fridge!


While there, I had to pick up a little something for myself...
